Recent Purchases!

So as a self proclaimed shop-o-holic it is no surprise i have been rather naughty as per usual and had some splurges recently! I am mostly all about the bargains though so i feel less guilty for that =)

Most of my clothes tend to be charity shop or vintage but since my new job i do find myself buying more and more topshop which i do love as its a great high street shop and offers all kinds of my favourite things so i am more than happy to be gaining more and more for my wardrobe and to ensure not all my clothes are 'shabby chic' lol

A Moment when i wasn't Me!

sorry i've actually gone a bit post crazy today but i'm always so busy its hard to find the time!! I promise to do better!!

So i recently got to Merchandise the bags, I LOVED every minute of it, really felt in my element, I felt like although I was following the guidelines closely I was also able to be creative and I was really pleased with the outcome!! I felt like i wasn't quite myself that day, I was confident and self assured, it made me happy knowing how far I've come and how much I've got out of the job!!

The table and mannequin are done to one of our current in store trends, Pageant Princess.

The back of the table is Last Chance to Buy. I went for a Boutique type set up for this.

The Wall is then Merchandised to Two Colour Stories (as shown Above) Including Hats and Scarves.

ViVa La Vintage at Topshop

One of the great things at Topshop is the importance of keeping up staff morale and being made to feel appreciated. One of the ways this is done is through themed days, its not always obvious to a customer but sometimes, usually on a Saturday we dress to a theme and may have some exciting challenges and treats in the back staff area!! we've had monopoly, pastels, WAGS and Footballers and Glam days! A few weeks ago i was asked if id like to organise one myself to a scale and theme of my choice, naturally i decided to go for a Vintage theme.... Viva la Vintage!!

I started with a poster and it went from there, it was important that everyone wore topshop but the idea was that it was vintage inspired! Then i got thinking and decided if i was doing a Vintage theme id go all out and accompany it with a Tea Party!

It was a great success i'm pleased to say, everyone had a great time, there were fairy cakes, flowers, tea sets, scones and jam, a giant cookie, bunting, the works!!
